You’ve heard it a thousand times: accessories make the room-- and it’s true. From experience, I found that most people’s homes either have too much “stuff” or not enough to show their personalities. And many have collectibles that they treasure, but don’t know how to display.
The fact is, accessorizing a room is no easy task. It takes planning and coordinating to create the harmony that I spoke about. For me to help you accessorize-- you first must ask yourself: how do I want to feel when I am in this room? We cannot begin to think about the specifics of accessorizing a room without a vision of what feeling you want the room to project.

Quick Tip: Group your collectibles!
There is usually a common theme in what you collect-- books, model cars, photographs. These items will make a statement when they are displayed together. The prints in this photo are distinctively different but when framed in identical or similar frames and displayed as a group, they became a special collection.
No matter what style you possess- abundance, minimalism, or in between-- there is always a tasteful way to accessorize your space to reflect who you are. |
